WE ARE NOW TAKING ORDERS FOR Q2
- 2025 -

WHO WE ARE

WHO WE ARE:

Free Land Solar manufactures the solar industry’s most advanced elevated dual-axis solar energy generation platform serving the commercial solar sector.

Free Land Solar:

  • sells directly to its end-user clients.

  • can provide 100% project funding through its financial service partners.

  • features an emerging outdoor media business with USPTO patents pending, that will significantly enhance the ROI of commercial solar installations.

Free Land Solar was founded in May 2023 by investor Gary Yamamura and tech entrepreneur Allen Gilstrap. Free Land Solar is a bold proponent of Distributed Generation (DG) in which solar energy is generated at the energy consumer’s location.

SOLAR PANEL INSTALLATION
SOLAR PANEL DUAL AXIS TECHNOLOGY

DESIGN
INSPIRATION:

On our CEO’s family ranch in Kansas, fields of sunflowers turned to follow the sun, capturing maximum energy throughout the day. Nearby, windmills generated power next to the barns, providing electricity exactly where it was needed.

Free Land Solar trackers imitate nature’s design with our dual-axis motion technology, featuring linear actuators that effortlessly move the array to track the sun. Our solar trackers can provide the power for level 3 EV charging stations installed in parking lots.

We think that the same common sense of installing the windmill next to the barn profoundly applies in the solar industry today.

PROBLEMS TO
SOLVE:

PARKING LOT SOLAR

Commercial Rooftops:

Nearly half of the car dealerships, big-box retailers, quick service restaurants and other commercial clients are not able to fully switch to solar energy because of barriers to rooftop installations.

Failing Power Grid:

The already beleaguered US power grid cannot sustain the accelerating growth of power demands from new data farms and large utility solar farms located hundreds of miles away from its power users.

US POWER GRID FAILURE
FOSSIL FUEL RELIANCE

Virtue Signaling:

In the USA, owners of electric vehicles tout their clean air leadership. Yet 60% of EV charging stations are powered by electricity generated from fossil fuel power plants.

EV Range Anxiety:

There is a shortage of Level 3, EV fast charging stations across the USA where drivers can charge their EV in 15 to 20 minutes. This void creates “range anxiety” which impedes expanded EV sales.

EV CARS
PROBLEMS TO SOLVE

OUR
IMPACT:

Free Land Solar expects to have over 2,700 solar trackers installed nationwide by the end of 2027. This will amount to 53 MW of installed capacity, generating 103,400 MWh of power per year—equivalent to avoiding 64,690 metric tons of CO₂ annually. Below are the most relevant equivalencies of the avoided CO₂ per year:

  • Greenhouse gas emissions from 15,089 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles driven for one year.

  • CO₂ emissions from 7,279,227 gallons of gasoline consumed.

  • CO₂ emissions from 2,971,821 propane cylinders used for home BBQs.

  • Greenhouse gas emissions avoided by 22,859 tons of waste recycled instead of landfilled.

  • Greenhouse gas emissions avoided by 5,499,109 trash bags of waste recycled instead of landfilled.

EV CHARGING
  • Greenhouse gas emissions from 164,738,181 miles driven by an average gasoline-powered vehicle.

  • CO₂ emissions from 13,482 homes electricity use for one year.

  • CO₂ emissions from 5,615,564,258 smartphones charged.

  • Carbon sequestered by 64,888 acres of U.S. forests in one year.

  • Carbon sequestered by 1,069,663 10-year-old trees.

OUR SOLUTION

OUR
TECHNOLOGY:

Free Land Solar´s tracker is one of the largest in the market, maximizing the surface covered by PV modules but keeping a small footprint on the ground. We use large format bifacial modules with the highest wattage output on the market and newest PV cell technology that warranties performance for more than 30 years.

It is designed to operate seamlessly in multi-platform arrays. All configurations are monitored and controlled remotely, via its integrated cellular modem. Linear actuators propel the platform on two axes and are bolted securely to the center beam, reducing vibration and shaking, even in heavy winds.

In the stow position, the platform provides shade and protection for vehicles and pedestrians below. Its minimum 13.6ft ground clearance allows commercial and farm vehicles and pedestrians to pass underneath and continued use of the ground below.

FREE LAND SOLAR TECHNOLOGY
FREE LAND SOLAR TECHNOLOGY 2

It periodically performs a self-diagnosis and transmits its status to the monitoring system and control dashboard, using its onboard cellular modem.

Throughout the day, the solar array continuously changes its position to maximize energy production. It adjusts its tilt to keep its solar panels perpendicular to the sun’s rays in every season. In strong wind gusts the array automatically shifts to the stow position, parallel to the ground.

Each Solar Tracker is built with an intelligent and automatic power modulation mechanism with the ability to switch from “maximum capacity mode” to “precision tracking mode” at any time, according to the energy production needs of the direct customer or directions from the utility company to maximize energy production and avoid grid congestion.

OUR TECHNOLOGY

Introducing
Dynamic
Visuals:

In 2025, solar trackers manufactured and sold by Free Land Solar will include an integrated digital billboard in various form factors and motion capabilities.

Digital billboard advertising offers several advantages over traditional billboards. It allows for dynamic and eye-catching content that can capture audience’s attention more effectively. Additionally, digital billboards provide flexibility in terms of content scheduling, allowing advertisers to change their messages frequently.

Digital billboards can also target specific demographics and measure advertising effectiveness using data analytics. Digital billboard advertising can earn between $3,000 and $15,000 per month on average, but the price can vary depending on several factors:

  • Location: Billboards in more populated areas are more expensive than those in rural areas. For example, the largest billboard in Times Square can cost up to $3 million per month.

  • Size: Larger billboards cost more.

  • Time of day: More popular times, like rush hour, are more expensive.

  • Demographics: The age, gender, and income levels of people who pass by the billboard can affect the cost.

  • Display characteristics: Other factors that can affect the earnings include advertising duration and frequency, and whether the billboard is rotating or shared with other companies.

Disruptive
Marketing:

In 1984, Apple disrupted the IBM-dominated computer market when they introduced the Macintosh personal computer. This challenged IBM’s premise that consumers would do their personal computing at an IBM Mainframe Center.

Similarly, the solar industry is at an inflection point. Just as personal computing shifted from centralized mainframes to individual devices, energy generation is transitioning from an overburdened centralized power grid to decentralized, renewable solutions.

The already beleaguered U.S. power grid simply cannot sustain the impending power demands from the tsunami of new electric vehicle purchases, making distributed solar solutions more essential than ever.
